Beautiful and very rare early rigid Summar in original , very good condition (light dent on the filter ring and light signs of corrosion on the barrels), optics in good condition (only showing a couple of light spots), with both black paint caps, delivered to Hattingen, Germany, on 04.01.1934, according to the delivery records fewer than 2000 Summar lenses in rigid mount have been made, starting from 1934 Leitz also offered a conversion from the rigid mount to collapsible, which makes the already uncommon lens very rare nowadays.
