direct positive ferrotypes, comprising two views in card mounts with “Alden’s Premium Views Saratoga” labels, one in card mount with stamp “Taken at Saratoga Springs, NY by A.E. Alden, Artist from Providence R.I.” and three uncut and unmounted tintypes stereo pairs. While tintypes were a common for portraits they were almost never used for stereographs and are quite rare.
