Seven 'Spirit' Stereographs
albumen prints and gelatine silver prints, comprising two early cards, the first with printed label "The London Stereoscopic Company" and captioned “The Ghost in the Stereoscope. Kindly suggested by Sir David Brewster, K.H.” (c. 1860), the second with printed label "The Ghost" and dated in ink “1864”. Together with five later stereo cards including one of a ghost appearing at an Irish wake. Ex Spira Collection.
