Ex Spira Collection purchased from Dr. Walter Clark. This was Dr. Clark's personal movie camera. Dr. Walter Clark (1899-1991) was an honorary trustee of the George Eastman House Museum. Dr. Clark was a distinguished scientist and former head of the Applied Photography Division of the Eastman Kodak Research Laboratories. Dr. Clark played a vital role in establishing the home of George Eastman as the site of a museum devoted to photography and cinematography.
