10x10" early English mahogany sliding box camera, with maker's plaque "James J. Shew, Manufacturer, 28 Wardour St., London", Lerebours et Secretan, Paris brass-bound lens no.6113. While it is unusual to find a French lens on a British camera of this period, it appears to be completely original, the camera and the lens are in very good condition with matching wet-plate holder.
