rare version of early camera with early "feet" scale (without close-focus), with feathered arrows on the knobs, interesting version with "a" after the serial number (this was later replaced by "*" and indicates a duplicate serial number. 100% original condition (see also von Einem "Die 10 Variaten der klassischen Leica I A mit Elmar 1:3.5 F=50mm'), in excellent condition (cleaned by Malcolm Taylor)
