This lens covered 90 degrees at f/30 was an instant success. Charles C. Harrison was a daguerreotypist, camera maker, and inventor. He began manufacturing high-quality cameras about 1849. He is known to have made daguerreotype apparatus in 1854-1855 at White & Elm Sts.. He died Nov.23, 1864. Ex Spira Collection.
