Mostly English, all but one hand-painted, comprising five chromatrope slides, the first a mahogany frame 3 3/4 x 10 ", with two hand-painted 3 1/4" dia. disks which rotate in opposite directions by string when a wooden wheel with crank is turned at the other end of the slide. Four rack-work chromatropes of various sizes (3 probably German). Together with six lever-operated slides. (condition varies) Ex Spira Collection.
