Beautiful rare extremely early rigid Summar from the very first batch of production (nos.167001-168000), in almost mint condition, optics only showing a few light cleaning marks, with rear cap and red maker's box, this 193rd Summar lens has been delivered to famous retailer Koch, Zurich, on 28.08.1933, according to the delivery records less than 2000 Summar lenses in rigid mount have been made, starting from 1934 Leitz also offered a conversion from the rigid mount to collapsible, which makes the already uncommon lens very rare nowadays.
