An extremely rare late-production original grey-painted military Leica IIIc K, initially intended for the German Army but ultimately delivered to the U.S. Army on 7 July 1945, only a few weeks after the end of the war in Europe, as confirmed by the Leica delivery records.
The camera is preserved in very good condition and retains its original shutter curtains with the white “K” marking. It is accompanied by a matching Summitar 2/5cm no.586106 (bakelite front cap), delivered to the U.S. Army on the same day, 7 July 1945, as well as an Elmar 4/9cm no.592141 (both caps), also officially delivered to the U.S. Army, on 10 August 1945.
