an extremely rare and interesting Leica Standard, owned and used by the Admiralty Nautical Publications department of the British Navy. The camera is in good, original condition, it is engraved on the top plate with No.2, arrow and 'Admiralty NP'. Base plate is a modified SCNOO winder, also engraved with arrow and No.2. It comes with an unnumbered Elmar 3.5/50mm (nickel front part of the lens). The camera was delivered to London, on 18.05.1938. It is a very rare example of an original British military Leica.
