Very rare black paint M4 coming from leftovers of the production of the MDaMOT for use on Zeiss Fundus camera, but without parts necessary for motor use, still fitted with grooved body casting for special marker baseplate (not included), they were sold by E. Leitz, Inc. as special black M4's, here in mint and original condition, with body cap and regular black paint bottom plate. This exact camera is pictured in James L. Lager 'Leica an Illustrated History' vol. I on page 235.
