Rare Leica I Model A Elmar engraved for Lutz Ferrando & Cia., Buenos Aires, the important Argentine Leitz representative. According to the Leica delivery records, the camera was delivered to Ferrando on 20 June 1928. Cameras with this South American importer engraving are seldom encountered and represent an interesting part of Leica’s early international distribution history.
