According to the previous owner the camera was a sample for the golden finished M3. Leitz archive lists only two official golden M3 cameras (nos. 834000 + 873000). The gold plating of the camera offered is simular to the two official cameras. The double stroke camera is in beautiful and working condition. (no. 834000 was sold at WestLicht, no.873000 was offered at Christie's with an estimate of Euro 110000-150000)
