Interesting extremely early close-focus Leica I Mod. A camera, in beautiful, in almost mint original condition, note the "mushroom" type shutter release (not dimpled), flat eyepiece, short winding knob, export version, base plate engraved 'open-close', with close-focus Elmar 3.5/50mm in feet, delivered to Ernst Leitz New York on 20.07.1926, note the original mis-engraved 'Elma' instead of Elmar on the front, with FODIS rangefinder no.5844 in feet, 2x film magazines in double holder and very unusual ETRIN leather outfit case without any inscription.
