One of the rarest Leica copies ever produced, the post-war Neuca camera made by Franz Neubert in Jena. This extremely scarce camera is a loose interpretation of the Leica II, featuring several distinctive design departures, including a removable back, combined viewfinder and rangefinder, and characteristic notched control knobs.
The camera is in good condition and working order and is fitted with a matching M39 rangefinder-coupled Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 2,8/5cm, no.2822882. Production is estimated at only 20–30 cameras, of which very few examples are known to survive today, making this an exceptional opportunity for the most advanced Leica and German post-war camera collectors.
