In this version the camera was produced by special order for the 'Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule' (Swiss Technical University) in Zürich in a single edition of three cameras only (nos. 1712001, 1712002, 1712003). Brass body, many other parts are constructionally identical to the M4. The engraving on the top plate differs to the cameras produced in series. The camera was built for experiments in a radioactive environment, it was delivered on May 5th,1987. It is in mint original condition, included is the complete correspondence between Leica and the University ETH, guarantee card with matching number
