Rare second version of the Leica RAPIDO rapid winder, introduced around 1935 for early screw-mount Leica cameras. Unlike the first version, which attaches to the existing winding knob, this later type replaces the camera’s winding knob completely. Produced only for a very short period and seldom encountered today, especially in this near-mint condition.
