An extremely early Leica I Model A with Elmar lens, one of the earliest examples we have encountered. The camera displays all the desirable early features, including the mushroom-type shutter release, early viewfinder and flat viewfinder eyepiece. According to the Leica delivery records, it was delivered on 23.04.1926. Preserved in excellent, remarkably original condition.
