One of very few original prototypes Contax cameras made in Jena, with ivory laquer, from the usual serial number range 279XX, with matching ivory finish Sonnar 2/5cm no.3104773, original light brown leather covering, camera and lens in good condition, a similar camera can be seen in Hans-Jürgen Kuc 'On the Trail of the Contax' vol. II p.130 with Sonnar 2/5cm no.3104774 (!), note the flash sync contact and the interesting high profile film rewind knob, with matching leather case (top cover missing). It is for sure one of the most attractive Contax cameras!
