extremely rare stereo graphoscope made by Carlo Ponti in Venice, collapsible wooden construction folds to 40x75x15cm, exceptionally large magnification lens with a diameter of 25cm with a rotating wooden mask which allows to change the format form portrait to landscape, beneath the large lens is a stereoscopic viewer, inscribed on the front “Pontioscopio", sliding card holder in the shape of a height adjustable easel. Comes together with a scarce tissue photography by Ponti showing the Palais des Tuileries in Paris.
