The CRT-NIKKOR 58 f /1.0 is for use with an oscilloscope. “CRT” is the abbreviation for 'Cathode Ray Tube' and this lens is specially designed for use with ray tubes. Produced in early to mid 1970’s. The lens was designed (red engraved 'M = 1/4') for rays of 404.7 µm (h-line) wave length. Extreme rare industrial Nikkor lens with Nikon F lens bayonet mount, till today absolutely unknown. The fast lens is in mint condition.
