A unique, original pencil drawing on parchment by Wilhelm Albert, showing a prototype Hektor 2.5/50mm lens, scaled up to 5:1 size. The prominent feature of the pictured prototype lens is a broad aperture control ring on the lens tubus - a detail unseen on the production lenses or known prototypes. The drawing is in good, original condition, it is 37x56cm large, the signature of Albert and date 24.04.1929 is still well visible on the lower left corner. Provenance: estate of Wilhelm Albert.
