Correspondence dating from December 21st, 1935 between Ernst Leitz and a certain Uli Stark about a coupled lightmeter for Leica. On two typewritten pages Ernst Leitz replies to a proposal made by Mr.Stark and informs him that Leitz has already filed a patent application for a similar idea. To illustrate this two technical drawings from the patent are attached. The letter is written on company stationery of the Ernst Leitz Wetzlar GmbH and signed by Ernst Leitz.
