Very rare, one of only 427 Leica IIId ever made, it was the first Leica model produced on a die-cast chassis and with a built-in self-timer, technical features that would later become a standard for many models to follow. The camera offered is in excellent condition; it comes from an official batch delivered on 21.10.1944; included with the camera is an Elmar 3.5/5cm no.306199.
