very rare 'Leica-styled' leather covered pre-war 35mm prototype with focusing Steinheil Cassar 2.9/5cm no.243695 in Compur shutter, an original Leica spool is fitted inside, base plate engraved 'AZ'. Approx. 1950 the Iloca Camera company was taken over by Mr.Wilhelm Witt, because of trademark problems the name of the company (Ilca = Illing Camera) had to be changed to Iloca.
