A rare, original grey paint Leica IIIc, delivered on 25 May 1945 to the U.S. Army, with matching Summitar 2/5cm no.530497* recorded as delivered to the same destination on the same date. Also included is the original and very uncommon Personal Camera Pass issued aboard the U.S.S. Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31), one of the U.S. Navy’s best-known Essex-class aircraft carriers, which served extensively in the Pacific and later during the Korean War. A highly attractive and historically evocative set.
