beautifully crafted English Brewster type Stereoscope by Sutton & Son of Sheffield,maker's label engraved on ebony on top: 'Patent Achromatic Stereoscope Manufactured by I.P. Cutts. Sutton & Son Sheffield', brass oculars, rack and pinion focus driven by a brass knob underneath, hinged mirror, the ground glass is missing, some wear and repairs on the back otherwise in nice condition, the stand is a later addition. An important and highly decorative collectible!
