Beautiful rare early rigid Summar from the very first batch of production (nos.167001-168000), in very good condition, good optics only showing a few light cleaning marks, with both black bakelite caps and red maker's box, according to the delivery records less than 2000 Summar lenses in rigid mount have been made, starting from 1934 Leitz also offered a conversion from the rigid mount to collapsible, which makes the already uncommon lens very rare nowadays.
