Pinhole lens with focus from very close to infinity, angle of view 80°, the lens consist of a metal coated coplanar disk of optical glass with a tiny hole in its very centre, in a Contax lens mount. This pinhole lens was used to take wide angle pictures with an extreme depth of field. Zeiss Ikon produced only six of these lenses in the early 1950's especially for studies in the field of locomotive design. The lens is described by Wolf Wehran in 'Oldtimer' and illustrated with the famous Contax prototype VK27, caps. None of these lenses have ever been sold in a public auction.
