Van Rees Freres Filmkamera

the first of the extremely rare Belgian 35mm movie camera with an extraordinary streamlined design, the camera’s body is made of polished and fire-engine red painted cast aluminium, prominently mounted on the front the winged makers label. Very little is known about the Van Rees Brothers, their company or their cameras. Only two different models are documented. Some records state that five, others that seven cameras were produced. It seems quite evident that all of them were from a small handcrafted series.
