rare brass telescope by Johann Heinrich Tiedemann in very fine condition (small chip in front element not affecting the function), rack and pinion focusing, provision for tripod mount, with brass front cap, Tiedemann (1742-1811) has taken in 1772 a position of Royal Optician in Stuttgart, J.F. Voigtländer worked with Tiedemann from 1804 to 1807
