decorative and well preserved French table-top viewer for glass slides, the massive cast iron handle on the top can be removed to give access to the removable slide holder mechanism, the expressive maker's label on the front shows a dark mask in the style of the contemporary 'Fantomas' movies by French silent movie pioneer Louis Feuillade.
