Interesting and rare extremely early M39 Summicron 9cm from the very first batch (100 lenses starting with no.1119001), movable aperture index and fixed aperture scale, in very good condition, lens head hand-engraved with '869506' (unknown reference), optics showing cleaning marks and separation, a similar lens no.1119005 can be seen in James L. Lager 'Leica an Illustrated History vol. II' on page 74, note the feet scale focusing barrel made in Canada, originally for a very early M-mount type, with red point designed to be fit with glued M-adapter ring (glue residues and traces of the adapter still visible), according to Leica records, the lens was late delivered on 29.03.1967 to Germany, so 10 years after the official launch of the Summicron 2/9cm, including UVa filter.
