Set of 40 British WWI Stereo Cards
historically interesting set of forty 9x18cm stereo cards published by Realistic Travel of London giving a realistic and drastic scope on the static warfare in Flanders in 1916. Unlike the contemporary German and American cards this series avoids any kind of idealization and focuses on the barbarous destruction of civil targets by the Germans and the inhuman conditions of the British soldiers trapped in their trenches. All the cards are in very good condition.
