9x12cm, rare jumelle-styled camera (early serial number from 1899) with magazine for 20 exposures, maroon leather covered walnut body with Krauss Zeiss Planar 3.8/160mm no.59104, variable focal-plane shutter for 1/2500th sec (not working), folding frame finder; invented by Guido Sigriste and manufactured S.O.L in Paris. Unique focal-plane shutter with a range of speeds enabling the user to photograph horse races, cyclists and birds in flight. The camera is in a very good optical condition and comes with original special carrying case.
