The first Nikkor 5cm lens in rigid mount! Rigid Nikkor 5cm was introduced in 1950 as a replacement for the less refined collapsible lens. The production of the new rigid lens began with serial number 50080101. The new barrel was much heavier even though the dimensions were nearly the same. It was also a much more modern looking lens. The first produced lens offered here is in beautiful, near mint condition, with very good optics (only a few cleaning marks), comes with a matching UV filter and both caps. It is an important piece from the history of Nikon!
