M4 Black Paint 'Chas Gerretsen'

Fully original black painted M4 with very rare black 8-element Wetzlar Summicron 2/35mm no.2196464 (cond. B/A, clean lenses, original strap, UV filter and 12585 hood) used by it's first owner, famous photographer Chas Gerretsen (Dutch-born award winning, war photographer, born 1943). For his work he used this M4, the M4-M and the Nikon F also offered in this auction. The camera comes with photographs showing Chas Gerretsen with his cameras and a letter of confirmation, also included are three rare, early prints: (1) Chas Gerretsen with his cameras (Santiago 1973, 19.8 x 30.2cm), (2) General Pinochet surrounded by his Generals and bodyguards (Santiago 1973, 20.2 x 25.2cm), (3) The crew of Francis Ford Copolla's 'Apocalypse Now' (Philippines 1976, 20.3 x 25.3cm) and his book 'CHILI Special Reporter-Objectif' (1973, signed).
