magnificent French luxury viewer for 200 cards with integrated graphoscope, black lacquer finish with carved floral decorations and brass applications. Knobs for focusing and for adjusting the image stage and swinging in a mirror to redirect the daylight. On the right and on the back of the viewer mounted a holder for the brass candlestick, which also serves to illuminate the images. The right eyepiece has a crack, otherwise the viewer is in excellent original condition and fully functional. It is equipped with about 30 stereo cards. The same model is shown in Wing: “Stereoscopes”, page 46, and in the Wachtl catalogue of 1903. Height: 140cm
