Leitz Stereo Tandem TOWIN

the Leica tandem TOWIN was invented in the 1940s by W. Berssenbrugge - an expert in colour and stereo photography - it was originally made for stereo exposures, in 1949 however Leitz advertised it as a device for simultaneous exposures in b&w and colour. Mounted on top is a Leica IIIc no.514646 on bottom Leica IIIc no.509705 with Elmar 3.5/5cm no.201737 and 343435 accordingly, exactly this example of TOWIN is shown in Lager III Accessories on page 347 and 348, it is one of most rare Leica accessories
