The prototype camera was developed for testing the new LEICAFLEX MOTOR, it has the self timer mechanism as all prototype cameras, which was missing on production cameras. With black/chrome top plate and a black paint base plate and the rare eye cup. The LEICAFLEX MOTOR is a pre-series model without serial number, with grip - all in very good and working condition - see: Georg Mann 'Leicaflex - Die Entwicklung einer Legende' page 258/259 for a similar camera with self timer and motor drive.
