A very unusual Leica Standard NY, delivered to Leitz New York on 11.06.1949, together with a matching Leitz New York Wollensak 3.5/50mm lens. The camera is distinguished by the complete absence of vulcanite covering, exposing the characteristic brown finish of the body shell. The exceptionally neat appearance suggests that the covering may never have been fitted, possibly as a special-order configuration.

Preserved in excellent condition and accompanied by the uncommon original Leitz New York hood and presentation case.
