Beautiful limited special edition (150 units) issued in 1999 to celebrate 150 years since the foundation of Carls Kellner's optical institute, which is a forerunner of Leitz, each of the 150 years between 1849 and 1999 is represented by the engraving on the top plate, this version of the set includes a platin plated M6 body no.2490026 with special engraving 'M6-1875', with grey leather covering, together with matching platinum Elmar-M 2.8/50mm engraved with '150 Jahre Optik 1875', in unused condition with lens hood, front lens cap, strap, certificate, papers, special wooden presentation box and maker's box.
