Beautiful limited special edition issued in 1999 to celebrate 150 years since the foundation of Carls Kellner's optical institute, which is a forerunner of Leitz, each of the 150 years between 1849 and 1999 is represented by the engraving on the top plate, this version of the set includes a platin plated M6 body no.2490010 with special engraving 'M6-1859', with grey snakeskin pattern leather cover, together with a platinum Elmar-M-M 2.8/50mm engraved with '150 Jahre Optik 1859', in unused condition with all accessories, certificate, instructions, special wooden presentation box and maker's box.
