This is an extremely early Leica M3 in very good, original condition. It has all the early features, like the double stroke advance, the earliest type back door, early casting (with guss number 219), no 'L' seal, etc. The camera was delivered on 03.04.1954. It also has an early, collapsible M-mount Summicron 2/5cm no.1040976 (with a Thorium glass element, including a matching, early lens cap with the Summicron name on the inside). Including an early red maker's box (unnumbered), an early leather case and English instructions from 1954. This is a very rare and beautiful outfit.
