Very rare and one of the last of 427 Leica IIId ever made, it was the first Leica model with a built-in self-timer, a technical feature that would later become a standard for many models to follow, here still with original red shutter curtain, in good condition, the shutter needs attention, with a very interesting and moving engraving on the bottom plate, stating that the camera was a gift from Romanian ex-prisoners to the Sergent F.E. Brooks on 10.10.1945, with Summitar 2/5cm, very good coated optics, with front lens cap.
