two famous prototype dummies, of a Leica CL and Minolta CLE. The silver CL prototype dummy shows the camera in an early stage of development, the body is significantly smaller than the final product, and it also shows many unique features that were not adopted in the production CL, like the M3 style winding lever and strap lugs, no separate window for the rangefinder, etc. The CLE dummy represents a late-stage prototype with the final dimensions of the camera, but still, it shows some unique features like the film-type window on the back door. Both of these historically important prototypes are shown in Lager I 'Cameras' on page 250.
