This is a variant of the regular 16mm Vega made for taking unobserved photographs. Technically it is partly identical to the regular Vega by Arsenal Zavod, like this it takes 10 x 14mm negatives on 16mm film in special cassettes. The film transport was modified, it now works by pressing a square knob next to the two „cigarettes“, and the finder was omitted. The 3.5/23mm fixed focus lens is behind an unobtrusive grid of sixteen holes on one of the small sides of the cigarette packet. The camera is capable of taking clandestine or unobserved photographs.
