Jamin-Darlot Brass Lenses (various)

Set of 4 lenses by Jamin Darlot, Paris. The lenses are chosen so that they allow to trace the history of the famous Parisian optical workshop: The company was originally founded by Jamin in the 1850s and in 1860 taken over by his plant manager Darlot. For only one year the lenses carried the name Jamin-Darlot. In 1861, Jamin was dropped and the lenses became Darlot. Depending on their orientation, all the offered lenses can either be used as a landscape or a portrait lens.
