I Mod.A 'Knud Rasmussen'
outfit used by the famous polar explorer Knud Rasmussen, according to letters by Leica company the camera (Leica I Mod.A with Elmar) was delivered to Skandiapol on July 2nd, 1929. It comes with cap, FODIS rangefinder, double film container with spools, in matching ETRIN case, baseplate with sticker 'KONGSBAK & COHN KOBENHAVN', the outfit and its history is covered by the title story on 7 pages in Classic Camera, 38th edition, April 2001 - ex Ansaldi collection
